This lot comes from the COCARIVE cooperative, located in Carmo de Minas, Minas Gerais. Founded in 1961, it is made up primarily of smallholder farmers, with 80% of its farms being smaller than 7 hectares. The coffees grown in the Serra de Mantiqueira are cultivated at altitudes between 900 and 1,500 meters above sea level. Due to the terrain, 95% of the coffee harvest is hand-picked.
